Close enough to walk, we have been to the Stag several times and echo all the other good comments. Smoked rabbit casserole with chips leaves a lingering memory. Nice beer always something new. |

What a great pub and staff. Food and beer excellent. And as for Paul the landlord, what a nice guy. nothing was to much trouble for him. In this day and age it is so nice to find a pub with such great atmosphere. As well as the friendly customers. Looking forward to my next visit. Yes Paul I will be back. |

HI there, would just like to stay wot a lovely time i had at the stag th other night. everyone was nice. I dont know if you are aware of the team of boys that visit your pub, thers rod, tom, nath, boyzy, sharp etc( they usually pop in now and then). Yeh well they will be coming to visit on the 19th of dec. On behalf of them they are really looking foward to going to the stag again for their annual xmas drink. Kind Regards

I visited the stag the other day for the first time on saturday, and i must say that it is the best meal i have ever had in a village pub. The stag is a very friendly place with an extreamly cosy atmosphere. i loved it. i will be back!!!! |
