West Acre History Fair - 24th & 25th August 2008

A packed two days of historical entertainment for all the family.

 

The Stag will be at the event serving a selction of Real Ales. 

 

The West Acre history fair celebrates some of the major episodes in British and Norfolk history. Step back in time and witness some of the varied and significance historical events that made Britain what it is today. Creating a unique, fun, educational and attractive day out for all the family in one of the most attractive and historical landscapes in Norfolk. This two day fair will be an event not to be missed providing a full day of historical themes and entertainment.

Welcome!   The Stag is small and cosy family run 'Free House' pub situated in the centre of the village of West Acre, in the heart of Norfolk.  There are always at least 3 quality real ales on tap and these are changed regularly. In 2005 The Stag was voted CAMRA West Norfolk Branch Pub of the Year.  Food is served daily, with the varied menu consisting of freshly cooked home made dishes, using fresh locally sourced ingredients.

 

Our opening hours are: Tuesday - Thursday 12:00 - 15:00, 18:30 - 23:00,  All day Friday 12:00 - 23:00,  Saturday/Sunday 12:00 - 15:00, 18:30 - 23:00.  We are closed on Monday's except for Bank Holidays.
